SUCCESS GO GET IT MENTORSHIIP PROGRAM Student Roster July-August 2026

 Joshua Woods Jr.  

My name is Joshua, I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. This year I had to attend summer school in the morning during the program. The instructors made sure I completed my assignments and we went to the College and Trade school for a site visit. I realized that being in this program would help me do better in school. I also realized the importance of having good grades so I wouldn't have to attend summer school. The program taught me how to face challenges and become a better communicator. My goal is to become a professional football player one day.

Ta'Nasia Claybourne

My name is Ta’Nasia, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. At first, I just slept during the program because I did not enjoy being there. The instructors encouraged and motivated me to be more engaging and gave me responsibilities each day. I took attendance and made sure all assignments were completed and handed in before the end of the day. Through the program, I became more responsible and motivated to participate. My goal is to become a veterinarian one day so that I can help animals in need.

Cheyenne Stoud

My name is Cheyenne, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. During Team Building, I supported my team by taking on a leadership role and helping my group work toward our goals. I also enjoy helping others stay motivated when they face challenges. Through the mentorship program, I hope to become a stronger communicator so I can express myself and build stronger relationships. My goal is to become a successful entrepreneur and own my own business.

Tamir Thomas

My name is Tamir, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. Although I am a bit shy and tend to keep to myself, I enjoy encouraging others to do their best and believe in themselves. I also like helping people stay motivated when they face challenges. Through the mentorship program, I learned to interact and communicate more effectively with my team members through Personal and Social Development. This experience has helped me become more confident in expressing myself and building positive relationships with others. My goal is to become a writer someday and use my creativity and voice to inspire others.

Paige Thornton

My name is Paige, I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. I enjoyed the program because I needed help socializing with people. I am a shy person and did not like talking a lot. The program helped me become a better listener, because listening to others is an important part of growing and building strong relationships. I am learning to make positive choices. I would like to become a teacher one day, I'm just not sure what subject I would like to teach yet.

Brycen Samedi

My name is Brycen, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. I want to make positive changes in my life and become the best version of myself. Although most people think I'm shy, I really just want to do well in school and improve my grades. The instructors helped me build my confidence by giving me leadership responsibilities and encouraging me to step outside of my comfort zone. Through the Health and Fitness program, I also learned the importance of developing healthier eating habits. I enjoy communicating and talking with others because it helps me build stronger relationships, express myself, and learn from the people around me. My goal is to attend college and become a successful track and field athlete.

Stephant Hunter

My name is Stephant, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. I enjoy encouraging others to do their best and believe in themselves. Through Personal and Leadership Development, I have learned how to help others stay motivated and overcome challenges. I am also learning to become a better communicator so I can express myself clearly and connect with others. My goal is to continue developing my skills and one day become a successful basketball player.

Lariyah Davis

My name is Lariyah, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. I am a strong communicator, and I take pride in getting the job done. Through the Personal and Social Development program, I became more confident in handling difficult situations by learning to stand out, stay calm, and be the bigger person. I look up to my father as a role model because he teaches me the importance of hard work, responsibility, and financial independence. His example inspires me to think seriously about my future and the goals I want to achieve. One day, I would like to become a sports physical therapist to help athletes stay healthy, strong, and active.

Jorden Stroud

My name is Jorden, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. I am very proud of graduating from middle school and see it as an important step toward achieving my future goals. In the mentorship program, I hope to strengthen my communication skills through Team Building and learn how to step outside my comfort zone. I want to become more confident, engaged, and comfortable connecting with others. I am mostly interested in giving back through community service and look forward to exploring different opportunities to discover an area that I am passionate about to help others.

Zachariah Bennett

My name is Zach, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. I enjoy socializing, playing sports, and giving back to my community. If I could make a positive change, I would use what I learn through Personal and Leadership Development to help improve the lives of people experiencing homelessness by ensuring they have greater support, resources, and opportunities. Through the mentorship program, I also hope to strengthen my communication skills and become more confident in expressing myself. My goal is to become a successful athlete one day while using my platform to make a positive impact in my community.

Rea Rae Ricks

My name is Rea, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. I believe it is important to listen to and respect the opinions of others while also having the confidence to share my own. To me, a good leader is someone who listens, supports others, and looks for ways to be helpful to the people around them.

Through Social and Leadership Development, I hope to become more confident in expressing my opinions, trusting my decisions, and staying true to myself rather than being easily influenced by others. I want to continue developing the confidence and leadership skills I need to make positive choices and become a strong role model.

James Lee 

My name is James, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. I am a strong communicator who enjoys helping others, especially when they are struggling with their schoolwork. I believe being a good leader means encouraging and supporting others so they can build confidence, overcome challenges, and become better versions of themselves.

Through Personal Development, I have learned how to engage more with others and understand the importance of health and fitness in our everyday lives. I take pride in being someone others can talk to and depend on when they need help or encouragement. My goal is to become a successful athlete one day and use my positive attitude to inspire others.

Jamori Williams

My name is Jamori, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. I am mostly quiet, but I enjoy being funny and making my team members laugh by telling jokes. Through the Social and Personal Development programs, I have learned a lot about myself. I have become a better listener, learned how to be more engaged, and improved the way I communicate with my team members. These experiences have helped me become more comfortable connecting with others. I would also like to continue building my confidence so I can reach my full potential. I love sports, and my goal is to become a successful athlete one day.

Ta'Shaughn Bolden

My name is Ta’Shaughn, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. I enjoy sports and would like to make a positive difference in the behavior and attitudes of students in my school and community. As a leader, I want to be a responsible and positive role model. Through the Personal Development and Leadership programs, I have developed greater confidence and strengthened my leadership skills. I understand that becoming a great leader takes time, but I am ready to listen, learn, and take action.

The mentorship program has also helped me grow and see the importance of leadership, responsibility, and teamwork. One day, I hope to become a professional football player while continuing to inspire and positively influence others.

Kamryn Thompson

My name is Kamryn, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. I am a hard worker, I enjoy playing football, and I am especially proud of successfully completing the 7th grade.

I believe a good leader demonstrates accountability, teamwork, and responsibility every day. Through Personal Development, I have learned how to become a better team player and understand that I do not have to do everything on my own. Working together and supporting others can help everyone succeed.

I look up to my granddad and my mom because they continue to encourage me to do the right thing, make positive choices, and stay focused on my future. Their support motivates me to keep working hard and become the best version of myself.

Malachi Bennett

My name is Malachi, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. I am proud of my abilities in sports and enjoy the confidence, teamwork, and discipline that come from being part of a team.

Through the Social and Leadership Development programs, I learned ways to make a positive difference in my community, especially by helping to prevent violence. I believe young people can make a difference by encouraging one another to make better choices, respect others, and find healthier ways to handle conflict.

I hope to become a successful athlete one day and use my passion for sports to inspire and positively influence others.

Jermaine Lowe

My name is Jermaine, and I am a student in the Success Go Get It Mentorship Program. I enjoy sports and want to become a more confident person who can help solve problems in my school and community. As a leader, I want to listen carefully to others, understand their needs, and find ways to support them. I know that becoming a great leader takes time, and through Personal and Social Development, I am learning to listen, grow, and take action. My goal is to become a successful football player while continuing to develop the leadership and communication skills that will help me succeed on and off the field.
