BOARD PRESIDENT
Michael Anthony is an accomplished entrepreneur with a strong record of leadership and community engagement. He is also the Assistant Youth Director at the Buffalo Salvation Army, where he is dedicated to advancing programs that positively impact youth and families within the community.

Michael holds a Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute and leverages this expertise to lead community development initiatives, real estate projects, and strategic investments. His work is guided by a commitment to excellence, accountability, and long-term impact.
​
Known for his professionalism, compassion, and effective communication, Michael brings a collaborative leadership style and a results-driven mindset to every role he undertakes. He is widely respected for his ability to motivate others through integrity, positivity, and tireless dedication.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Michael enjoys traveling, engaging in entertainment and cultural experiences, playing chess, reading, and spending quality time with his family.

Johvan Michael Brown is a community-driven leader, youth advocate, and multi-disciplinary program strategist with extensive experience operating youth care programs, and supporting housing and homelessness initiatives across the Greater Toronto Area. With a strong background in mentorship, behavioral support, crisis navigation, and youth engagement, Johvan has worked directly with vulnerable populations while developing structured systems that promote safety, stability, and personal growth. He has also served as a licensed foster caregiver and program manager bringing frontline insight into the needs of
at-risk youth and the communities that serve them.

At Turn It Up Productions, Johvan channels his leadership administrative strength, and passion for empowerment into amplifying young voices through media, storytelling and creative development.

Kandice Hailey
​Kandice Hailey is an experienced administrative and healthcare professional with over 15 years of expertise in clinical operations, community engagement, and executive support. In her current role she enhances outreach efforts, streamlines organizational workflows, and provides high-level support to senior leadership.
​
She has helped to build more than 180 community partnerships, coordinated
hundreds of wellness workshops, and managed a large-scale reservation system
serving diverse community needs.
​​
With a background in clinical laboratory operations, medical assisting, behavioral health, and community programming, Kandice is known for her professionalism, compassion, and strong communication skills. She holds an Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting from Bryant & Stratton College and completed coursework in Communication at the University at Buffalo.
